Please read below carefully and ensure you fully understand.
We reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments or changes to these terms and conditions without notice.
Bookings and Payments
A contract between you (the student) and us (Mrs Burney’s Bee Club CIC) will come into existence only when payment (be that a deposit or whole sum) is received and a booking confirmation is issued showing the confirmed course start date.
All bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of £200. If this payment is not made at the time of booking, the place cannot be held.
You must complete a student application form online before a booking confirmation will be issued. The booking confirmation is subject to Mrs Burney’s Bee Club CIC accepting the application.
The balance of the course fee is due eight weeks before arrival. If the balance is not received by the due date the booking will be deemed to have been cancelled and Mrs Burney’s Bee Club CIC reserves the right to offer the place to another student on the waiting list.
Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract & loss of the booking.
If students wish to cancel their confirmed booking they must do so in writing. If students cancel within the eight-week period prior to the start of their course they will be responsible for the payment of the remaining course fees in full unless they, or we, find an alternative booking, in which case the deposit only will be forfeit.
Mrs Burney’s Bee Club CIC reserves the right to cancel (as a last resort when faced with unavoidable circumstances) and / or make any alterations to courses, dates, fees and accommodation where necessary, at their discretion. All enrolled students will be notified immediately of any changes. The deposit payment is non-refundable, but transferable. The balance payment is refundable should there be government restrictions in place preventing the residential taking place.
Our liability for cancellation will be limited to your payments made to us.
Health and Safety
Drinking alcohol, and the use of illegal drugs are not permitted on the Fryland’s Wood site and if students are thought to have been involved in these activities, their course will be terminated immediately. Fees will not be reimbursed under such circumstances.
Students are expected to report, and where appropriate, pay for any damage and breakages.
Property belonging to students is brought at their own risk. Mrs Burney’s Bee Club CIC does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage. Neither does the company accept liability for personal injury except as imposed by statute.
Mrs Burney’s Bee Club CIC staff are fully first aid trained and have emergency procedures in place to deal with any first aid incidents.
Appropriate provision is made for the safeguarding of students under the age of 18 within the organisation and accommodation provided. There is a safeguarding policy in place, which specifies procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all students under the age of 18.
A Code of conduct policy and training is provided for all staff dealing with students and all staff have current Disclosure and Barring Service checks in place (this includes Mrs Burney’s Bee Club staff and Fryland’s Wood staff).
Students are supervised throughout the day during our sessions. Fryland’s Wood staff are onsite during the night. During free time we do allow the students to enjoy the local area, and we ask them to stay in a group of two or more, and to let us know where they are going and when they will return. If the parent or guardian would like to discuss this further, please call or email us.
All candidates over the age of 18 must be DBS checked. Mrs Burney’s Bee Club CIC will cover the cost of the check but candidates must share identification to enable the checks to be carried out.
